MealMap: Terms and Conditions
Patrick Tammaro operates the website and the MealMap mobile application (the “Service”) also known as MealMap: Grocery Lists by Store (name on the AppStore subject to change for search and discovery purposes).
 

The app is made available to you on an “as in”, with all faults and “as available” basis.
 

The app relies on the ability to obtain data from sites like www.harristeeter.com. I cannot guarantee this application will continue to fetch accurate item and aisle details from this site. This is applicable for free and paid versions of MealMap.
 

Please read this section carefully since it limits the liability of MealMap. By signing up to use MealMap, your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk. MealMap makes no claims or promises with respect to the quality, the accuracy or reliability of the app, its security, or its content.
 

To use MealMap, you have to log in with a Facebook, Apple, or create an account via Email. By signing up for MealMap you authorize me to contact you via email in a respective manner. I will not send unwanted emails but I might contact you directly via email if you send me a feedback or suggestion via the app or if you email me directly.

MealMap: Privacy Policy
Why do I need to collect and process some of your data?

MealMap is made available to the User free of charge. Some features of MealMap, however, may only be available via subscription or purchase with costs. In order to use all features of MealMap!, the registration as a User with a user account including a username and a valid email address as well as access to the Internet may be necessary.

When does MealMap collect personal data about me?

We collect personal data about you whenever you:

• Download and use our iOS app

• Create an app account to be able to use various features

What kind of data is stored?
When you sign up to use MealMap, you register with either a Facebook or Apple account or via an email address. Once you do so, the following data is collected: 

A. Personally identifiable data:

• First name (as provided from User (email) or Facebook/Apple)

• Last name (as provided from User (email) or Facebook/Apple)

• Email address

This data is collected to make the app experience possible and make sure you get the best possible support whenever you contact me. For example, I need your email address so you can directly contact me from the app and I can quickly email you back as soon as I receive your message(s).

B. Usage Data

We may also collect information based on your usage of the app. This is always done with the sole purpose of improving the experience for MealMap's users.

Examples: e.g. frequency and duration of usage, significant events and encountered errors if application has crashed etc. Some of this data is processed by Firebase Analytics (which tracks user engagement and major events happening inside the app to provide insights to developers) and Crashlytics (which provide crash reporting insights allowing developers to fix issues faced by users while they experience the app).

I use Firebase to store your data in a secure way.

Can I request that MealMap deletes all the data collected about me?

Yes, you can email me via the contact form which can be found in MealMap settings tab. Start your message with: “MealMap - Data deletion request” and let me know that you would like to see your data deleted. You will need to provide me your first name, last name, and email you registered a MealMap account under. I will then proceed with the deletion of your data in a timely manner (I read my emails very regularly) and you will get notified once this is done. Once deleted, if you wish to use MealMap again in the future, you will have to create a new account from scratch.

In case of a business transaction in which a portion or all of MealMap business is acquired, we will notify you as described above in this paragraph.
